Vallet Frères Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Burgundy

A pale, brilliant, light ruby. Very forward strawberry fruit with a light, earthy pepperiness to the nose. Fresh and pure. There's a more savoury character to the fruit on the palate and excellent acidic structure assisted by gentle, ripe tannins.  Serve with a traditional Coq au Vin, roast chicken or game.  Alternatively, a wheel of Époisses and some good bread. ABV 13.5%
