Rippa Dorii Tempranillo Roble, Ribera del Duero

Really inviting nose, full of vibrant fresh fruit - dark cherries, red plums as well as baking spices and subtle floral notes. The freshness of fruit follows on the palate with a seasoning of vanilla spice and toasty coconut from the 7 months spent in new oak.  There is sufficient tannin and acidity to stand up to a juicy steak but this would be equally good on its own in front of a roaring fire. ABV 14.5%
