Emiliana “Salvaje” Syrah Roussanne, Valle Casablanca

From the foothills of Casablanca's coastal mountains, 380m above sea level. Deep violet-red. A distinctive nose of black olive and forest fruits. The palate shows great intensity with sweet, deep blackberry, olive and clove spice. Velvet textured with a long, concentrated finish. While the blend is 95% Syrah, a small proportion of the rare, nervy Rhône white variety Roussanne is co-fermented resulting in a unique, complex wine. It is Biodynamic (think organic for witches) which means it is made with excruciating attention to vine health and, therefore, top quality fruit. ABV 13.5%
