Silvia Heinrich “Goldberg” Reserve Blaufränkisch, Burgendland

From 70 year old vines.  A rare find.  Incredible colour. Really alive and vital.  Dark ruby with flecks of purple.  Intense, trademark Blaufränkisch aromas of sweet black cherries, blackberry and blackcurrant.  This has been lavished with 30 months in the finest new oak but it is all in proportion and plays back up to the vibrant fruit.  Exceptionally fresh.  The palate has no sharp edges.  Mouthfilling and oppulent but with all the typical freshness of the variety. ABV 13%
