Silvia Heinrich “Deutschkreutz” Blaufränkisch, Burgenland

The Heinrich family planted these vines in the historic Goldberg vineyard in Deutschkreutz in 1947.  With its heavy, sandy loam soils and warm climate, the region provides ideal conditions for cultivating Blaufränkisch - a grape variety with centuries of history.  Dark, juicy cherry, blackberries, a hint of spice, and very subtle oak.  Balanced, moreish, fresh and long. ABV 14%
