The Myth of Motu Nui Sauvignon Blanc, Aconcagua

Bright, intensely aromatic, whistle clean and crisply textural. The Myth of Motu Nui is a delightfully classical yet modern Chilean Sauvignon Blanc as rich as the myths that inspire the name.  The label celebrates Chile’s most westerly outpost, Motu Nui, the tiny islet (or motu) just off the coast of Easter Island and the ritual of The Bird-Man which saw representatives of each island swim with a Tern egg across shark-infested waters and climb the perilous cliffs to the village of Orongo in order to claim power and privelege for the their tribe the following year.  I'd rather kick back with a glass of this, personally.
