Intense garnet in colour. Pronounced aromas of juicy strawberries, cherries and blackberries are married with notes of sweet vanilla, coconut and dried spices from 22 months of oak ageing in unique hybrid American-French barrels. A further 2 years of bottle age prior to release adds tertiary forest floor flavours. The palate is exceptionally well-structured, with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity which carries the complex flavours onto the lingering finish. ABV 13.5%. Also available in magnum.
