Plantagenet, Three Lions Pinot Noir, Great Southern, WA

Vibrant ruby red.  Shiny and alive.  Striking nose of zesty grapefruit and sweet cherry, complemented by fresh mushroom and nutty French oak.  The medium bodied palate is plush and elegant with great depth of fruit. The tannins are fine and rounded lending to a gorgeous, soft finish.  Plantagenet's "Three Lions" series is seen as the baby brother to their eponymous "Grand Vins" and, as is so often the case with the second wines of great producers, offers outstanding value for money. ABV 14%
