Montes Alpha Pinot Noir, Aconcagua Coast

A New World classic from the the coastal hillside vineyards of Chile's Pacific coast.   This is a soft, silky Pinot Noir with aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries, white pepper, rose and violet.  Medium-bodied, the palate has delicate tannins, vibrant acidity, and shows well-integrated French oak. The finish is long and elegant.  It is the proximity to the sea and the resultant cool climate which endow the wine with its tremendous freshness and minerality.  Perfect with roast lamb. ABV 14%
