Pergolino, Bianco Veronese, Veneto

This wine is light lemon in colour with a youthful rim. Perfumed with a lovely fresh white flower, almond and citrus nose giving way to ripe but crisp melon and a touch of white peach on the palate. The finish is lifted and aromatic.  Known as the ‘valley of god’ to the ancient Greeks, the Valpantena is well known for the quality of its wines, due partly to the limestone soils, but also because of the cool breeze that blows down the valley from the foothills of the Dolomites. ABV 12%
