Les Oliviers Chardonnay, Côtes de Gascogne

Soft and elegant with an underlying current of fresh acidity.   Supple, soft, ripe, fruit flavours on the palate, finishing with a squeeze of pithy citrus and candied pineapple.  In the south-west of France, Gascony has emerged as a specialist producer of fresh Chardonnays offering both finesse and charm.  A mixture of silt, sand and alluvial deposits help the soil to drain - ideal conditions for a healthy crop. ABV 11.5%
