Brick red in colour, with aromas of rose, cherry cola, five-spice, liquorice and sandalwood. Flavours of ripe red fruits and cherry pie lead to a long, high-key finish.  This has real structure: full bodied with ripe tannin and high acidity making it a fantastic food wine (pair with anything Italian).  If you appreciate Barolo or Barbaresco, this is a superb alternative, offering greater approachability in youth than many its Italian cousins. ABV 14.1%
