Domaine de Vedilhan Viognier, Pays d’Oc

Owned by the Fayet family, Domaine de Vedilhan is based in the village of Moussan close to Narbonne.  A brook runs through the vineyards providing much-needed water and providing a unique meso climate.  The resulting wines are fresh and appealing.  This modern Viognier is a lovely pale gold with honeysuckle, orange blossom, and trademark apricot on the nose.  A textural and structured palate is complemented by a very delicate and pleasing bitterness on the finish.  The wine is produced sustainably with Vedilhan having recently achieved HVE 3 certification.
