Wild House Chenin Blanc, Western Cape

Beautifully fresh, generously textured Chenin from the Western Cape.  Chenin, or "Steen" as it is known locally, is South Africa's signature variety.  Here is is treated with reverence, hand harvested from dry-farmed bush vines.  Ripe peach and tropical fruit on the nose with fresh citrus notes.  Honeyed and textured on the palate with crisp acidity and hints of melon and lychee leading to a bright, zesty finish with fresh, lemony acidity. ABV 12.5%
