Showdown “Man with the Ax” Cabernet Sauvignon, California

Ripe blackcurrant and wild berry fruit on the nose complemented by sweet vanilla from American oak ageing. On the palate there is rich cassis, black cherry and milk chocolate.  The tannins are ripe and there is enough grip to stand up to a juicy steak or hamburger. The American oak is subtly integrated and everything is in proportion.  A great introduction to the rabbit hole of Californian Cabernet Sauvignon! ABV 13.5%
