La Val Orballo Albariño, Rias Baixas

This is a fresh and crisp Iberian white from Albariño's homeland in north-west Spain.  The Atlantic influence means it is cooler than you'd expect at this latitude and rainfall more common than inland.  Fresh citrus and peach aromas lead to a bright but well textured palate with more peachy fruit and notes of gala melon.  It has a refreshing refreshing saline edge and a mouth-wateringly zesty finish. ABV 12%
