Gusbourne Brut Reserve 2021

Gusbourne’s Brut Reserve 2021 is a refined English sparkling wine, pale golden in colour with a delicate stream of fine bubbles. On the nose, it opens with fresh aromas of green apple, bright lemon citrus, and ripe nectarine.  The palate is elegant and soft, brimming with orchard fruits, white peach, and a streak of orange citrus.  As the wine develops, subtle layers of fresh pastry, apple pie, and roasted hazelnut emerge, leading to a long, crisp, and refreshing finish.

Gusbourne’s Blanc de Blancs is their signature cuvée.  Pale gold in colour with a fine, persistent mousse, this traditional method sparkling wine offers exceptional finesse and complexity.  On the nose, it brims with bright citrus – ripe lemon, orange peel, green apple, and Williams pear.  The palate is focused and elegant, layered with orchard fruits, white peach, and vibrant citrus, alongside richer notes of toasted nuts, brioche, and lemon meringue pie.  Extended lees aging for 39 months adds depth and texture, creating a precise, fresh mouthfeel with a zesty mineral finish.

Pale pink in colour with a light, delicate mousse, this English sparkling rosé captures elegance and vibrancy.  On the nose, it reveals inviting aromas of red fruits, citrus zest, stone fruits, and fresh floral notes.  The palate is juicy and refined, dominated by strawberries, crushed raspberries, redcurrants, and rhubarb, balanced by hints of red apple, nectarine, and orange.  Subtle touches of pink peppercorn and minerality add depth, leading to a long, zesty, and refreshing finish.
